Hi,
What I am trying to do is get your moveaction software to send a text message to my cell when it is triggered. The cell provider won't deliver messages with attachments. Is there some way to have it send the message without the photo?
Also, I'm sure my SMTP server requires username and password. How do I give it the password?
One more thing, I've tried every possible ftp configuration without success. I've turned off the firewall. I can use filezilla and even internet explorer to access my ftp site.
I'm sorry to take so much of your time. It's cool software as it is, but I would like to do more with it.

Apologies for the delay in getting round to responding to this.

At present the program cannot send an email without the attachment, but there is an option to run an external program, so if you could set up some kind of script or batch file to send your SMS, that should work. The settings you need to configure are these (in moveaction.conf)

# launch this program when movement detected
launchOnMovement=[your program]
workingDirectory=c:\


Try setting this to solve your FTP problem:
ftp.passive=true
